On a beautiful day in May, 2012 I found myself in Denver at a
reflexology class given by Bobbi (and Muff) Warren. As a certified reflexologist, I am required to
attend a class every two years to keep my certification current.
I opted to take a class from Bobbi because she is a dynamic teacher who
keeps up on current research. We learned new holding techniques alongside a review of previously
studied IIR materials.
It was also an excellent opportunity to get advice on cases from Bobbi, her
mom Muff (also an IIR teacher), and the entire class. I learned new ways to help my reflexology
clients by making their sessions more relaxing and beneficial to their health.
The comaraderie of the class was excellent. We shared success stories and
commiserated with each other on industry frustrations. The students even discussed how to enhance
and expand our businesses.
I especially enjoyed the treatments we did on each other. Healers often
forget to get treated themselves! It was a pleasure to sit back and receive reflexology from fellow
students while learning at the same time.
The class ended with a photo op. Although some people didn’t stick around
for the picture, I did get most of the group (me(Linda) included, on the left end of the middle
row). Here’s a shot of the class for all to enjoy. Muff is in the first row, second from the left,
Bobbi is in the middle row second from the right.
